# AI Visibility Recommendations

Beta

This feature is in Beta. This feature may continue to evolve. This documentation may not yet reflect the latest updates.

Recommendations translate your [AI Visibility](/docs/amplitude-ai/ai-visibility) insights into concrete actions. Instead of leaving you to interpret data independently, Recommendations identify specific gaps in content coverage, technical access, perception, and authority, and tell you what to do about them.

## Types of recommendations

Amplitude groups recommendations into the following categories. Each category targets a different way to improve how your product appears in AI-generated responses.

### Target low-visibility topics

Identify prompts where your product has low or no visibility. Typical actions include creating content that targets these prompts, expanding existing pages, and improving authority signals.

### Fix crawl and access issues

Identify technical issues that prevent AI systems from accessing your content. Common issues include blocked pages, rendering problems, and paywalled or restricted content.

### Address negative sentiment

Identify themes where your product receives negative reviews or feedback. Actions include creating content that addresses specific concerns, clarifying your positioning and messaging, and highlighting your product's strengths and differentiation.

### Analyze and outperform competitor content

Identify competitor pages that AI systems frequently cite. Actions include analyzing their content structure and depth, creating higher-quality alternatives, and matching or exceeding their authority signals.

### Earn third-party mentions

Identify opportunities to increase citations from external sources. Actions include publishing on trusted platforms, building relationships with frequently cited domains, and creating linkable assets.

## Explore recommendations

1. Open **AI Visibility**.
2. Select **Recommendations**.
3. Review the recommendation categories.
4. Open a recommendation to see its details and examples.
5. Use the examples to guide your next actions.

## Act on recommendations

Prioritize recommendations based on impact on visibility, effort required, and alignment with your goals. Track your progress by monitoring visibility changes, citation growth, and sentiment shifts over time.

## How sentiment informs recommendations

Negative [sentiment](/docs/amplitude-ai/ai-visibility/sentiment) themes highlight recurring concerns about your product. Amplitude uses these themes to generate recommendations that help you address perception gaps, improve messaging, and create content that resolves common objections.

This connects insight to action in a single workflow. To learn how to send AI Visibility data, go to [Send AI Visibility data to Amplitude](/docs/amplitude-ai/ai-visibility-events).
