# Bento (Cohort)

[Bento](https://www.trybento.co/) helps you build native-looking activation experiences in your product, from onboarding checklists to upsell cards and feature announcements. Bento lets designers and product managers build and test without engineering support.

To show the right users the right experience, you can send cohort information to Bento for guide targeting. Amplitude supports this at the user and group level. To automatically complete steps in a Bento guide when a user takes actions, you can pass in events from Amplitude.

This integration syncs cohorts from Amplitude to Bento.

Bento maintains this destination

## Use cases

- **Targeted messaging:** Target specific user groups with relevant messaging. For example, identify a cohort of users who recently made a purchase, then send them a follow-up email with a personalized offer.
- **Behavioral triggers:** Set up automated triggers based on user behavior. For example, identify a cohort of users who abandoned their cart, then send them a reminder email after a set period.
- **Segmentation:** Create custom segments based on user behaviors or characteristics.
- **Personalization:** Use Amplitude user data to create more personalized messaging.

## Considerations

- This integration is available only for customers on paid Amplitude plans.
- Enable this integration in each Amplitude project where you want to use it.
- Users on paid Bento plans can access this integration.
- Bento processes cohorts and events only for accounts and account users that already exist in Bento. Bento ignores attributes and events for accounts or account users that aren't in Bento (for example, if Bento is feature flagged).
