# Amplitude MCP is now in Slackbot

You can now connect Amplitude's MCP server to Slackbot and ask questions there — Slackbot will call Amplitude's tools on your behalf and return the answer inline, without leaving the interface.

### Amplitude MCP is now in Slackbot

Jonathan Yin

**Description:** Amplitude is live as a launch partner for Slackbot's new MCP Client — one of 20+ partners bringing your entire stack into a single Slack conversation. Ask questions about your product data in plain English, get answers inline, and share insights to channels where your team can act on them together.

**Try asking Slackbot:**

- "What were my WAUs last week?"
- "Show signup → purchase conversion and how it compares to the prior week"
- "Find session replays where users dropped off during onboarding" -"Search for the retention dashboard"

You can also query charts, look up users, check experiment results, manage cohorts, and create or edit dashboards — all from a Slackbot DM. Every action respects your existing Amplitude permissions, and you approve each tool call before it runs.

**Where:** Access via Personal Settings → Profile → Connect to Slack → then in a Slackbot DM, open the connector menu, pick Amplitude MCP Server, and ask away.
