### Cross Project Snowflake Credentials Use & Management

AJ Horst

**What it is:** When creating a new Snowflake Import or Export, you can now select credentials from any existing Snowflake connection in your org, including connections from other projects (requires permission to create Data Warehouse connections in both). This works across connection types: Import credentials can reuse an Export's credentials, and Export credentials can reuse an Import's. When connections share credentials, updating them in one place updates all of them at once. This is especially relevant as Snowflake phases out password authentication for programmatic users in 2026. Teams can migrate to Key Pair credentials once and have the change apply across all shared connections.

**Where:** Connection info step when creating a new Snowflake Import or Export; also reflected in existing connection views when credentials are shared

**EUDC:** Yes

**When:** Available now for all customers.
