The React Native SDK now auto detects network status and reacts to network availability change. Instead of keep retrying and dropping events hitting max retry, the SDK persists and flushes them the moment the device reconnects.

# Offline mode is now live in the React Native SDK

The React Native SDK now auto detects network status and reacts to network availability change. Instead of keep retrying and dropping events hitting max retry, the SDK persists and flushes them the moment the device reconnects.

## What it is

**Why:** This was a top ask and an active escalation risk. Customers like Robinhood and Amazon Music told us the lack of offline support left them blind to offline usage and pushed them toward custom native workarounds. It also brings us to parity with Mixpanel and PostHog, who both support this. Now it just works: events survive connectivity drops and app restarts, with zero data loss and nothing to configure.

**Where:** `@amplitude/analytics-react-native v1.6.0+`, on by default

**Available in EUDC:** Yes — offline handling is client-side and works with any server zone.

**When:** `@amplitude/analytics-react-native v1.6.0+`, on by default
