# Session-based Funnel Analysis

Funnel Analysis now supports Sessions as a counting method, along with a session-based completion window.

## What it is

**Description:** Funnel Analysis now supports Sessions as a counting method, along with a session-based completion window - so you can measure how many sessions convert through a funnel, with conversion bounded to the session itself. Pick Sessions in the counting method dropdown and the funnel counts session-level conversion.

**Why:** Session conversion rate is the standard funnel unit in digital analytics - "what % of sessions that started checkout completed a purchase" is how users think, report, and set targets.

**Where:** Funnel Analysis → counting method dropdown → Sessions + Funnel Analysis → Session completion window in the conversion settings.

**Available in EUDC:** Yes.

**When:** Now!
