### Transformed Properties Targeting in Experiment, Feature Flags, and Guides & Surveys

Sandeep Madugula

**What it is:** The Target Segment builder in Experiment, Feature Flags, and Guides & Surveys now surfaces transformed user properties in the property picker alongside standard ones. At evaluation time, Amplitude fetches your app's transformation config, applies the configured merge and map rules, and evaluates targeting against the resulting transformed values. Previously, targeting only worked against raw property values, which meant either re-implementing transformation logic in your SDK or backend, or accepting incorrect results when transformed values existed but raw ones didn't match.

**Where:** Target Segment builder in Experiment, Feature Flags, and Guides & Surveys. EUDC: Yes

**When:** GA. Available now.
