CHEQ Manage (server)

CHEQ Manage is an enterprise tag manager that gives you full control over third-party data and tags, enforces security policies, and manages access across all your digital properties. The server-to-server Amplitude integration uses the Amplitude HTTP V2 API for data collection, so you can implement it on web, mobile, server-to-server, or any device with an internet connection.

Set up the integration

Amplitude setup

Copy the Amplitude API key for your project. There are no other setup steps in Amplitude.

CHEQ setup

Integration with the Amplitude Browser SDK (for web)

1. Log in to CHEQ Manage.
2. Edit your existing Amplitude Browser SDK tag, or create a new one, then enable the Server-Side Integration toggle.
3. Save and publish the tag.
4. Click Add Tag, select the Amplitude HTTP V2 API App, and click Configure.
5. Enable the Amplitude Integration toggle and click Continue.
6. Set the condition for the tag to All Pages - Non-blocking (Asynchronous) and click Continue.
7. Save and publish the tag.

Amplitude HTTP V2 API setup (for mobile, server-to-server, or IoT devices)

1. Log in to CHEQ Manage.
2. Click Add Tag, select the Amplitude HTTP V2 API App, and click Configure.
3. Enter your Amplitude API key in the field provided.
4. Configure the tag to include your event data along with any additional user data, event properties, groups, revenue data, device information, or location information as needed. CHEQ populates default values for common fields.
5. If you use an EU API key, enable Use EU-based Servers in the Advanced Options section.
6. Choose the events that execute the tag to send data to Amplitude.
7. Save and publish the tag.
