Spenser graduated from MIT with a degree in Biological Engineering.
He spent a year working at DRW Trading as a high frequency trader before he moved out to San Francisco to join the startup world. He created Amplitude with Curtis so that app developers could use big data to grow their business. Spenser enjoys competitive games and keeping up with current events.
Curtis graduated from MIT with degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
He worked on the photos team at Google before venturing to start Sonalight, Inc. with Spenser. Together they worked to create Amplitude, with the goal of creating a more powerful and informative mobile analytics platform. Curtis is an avid moviegoer and proponent of games.
Alan graduated from Harvard with a degree in Economics and a secondary in Environmental Studies.
After graduating, he joined Teach for America and taught middle school math in San Antonio, Texas. He left the classroom to join Curtis and Spenser at Amplitude because he wanted to help developers use analytics to make better apps. Alan likes to exercise, binge-watch shows on Netflix, and browse Reddit (r/aww) in his free time.
Arthur graduated from Stanford GSB with a PhD in Economic Analysis.
He was a professor of economics at Tufts University where he focused on quantitative macroeconomic analysis and game theory. Arthur joined the Amplitude team with the goal of helping developers to make the best decisions for their apps by giving them powerful data-driven insights into their users' behavior. Arthur enjoys all sports as well as strategy games and science fiction.
