Availability

Customers with the Session Replay addon can use Heatmaps. All users with View permissions can create Heatmaps.

Heatmap retention

Heatmaps use an anonymized session replay that's decoupled from any user behavior and isn't subject to your Session Replay retention period.

Legacy organizations

If you receive a message that states "Heatmaps isn't available for your organization", contact Amplitude Support to enable Heatmaps. Legacy organizations require manual enablement, and may require an increase in property limit. For more information, go to Troubleshoot Heatmaps.
