Voxie Cohort Sync

Voxie's cohort sync integration keeps your Amplitude cohorts in sync with Voxie External Lists, so you can target specific user segments.

Voxie is a conversational SMS marketing platform that helps brands engage customers with personalized, two-way text messaging at scale.

Considerations

  • You must enable this integration in each Amplitude project where you want to use it.
  • You need a Voxie account to enable this integration.
  • Voxie identifies contacts by phone number. Voxie skips users without a phone number during sync.

Prerequisites

To set up this integration, you need:

  • A Voxie account with the Amplitude integration enabled. Contact your Voxie account manager if you don't see it under Settings > Integrations.
  • Owner or admin access in your Voxie team to generate credentials.

Set up the integration

Voxie setup

  1. Log in to your Voxie account.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Amplitude.
  3. Under Inbound Configuration, click Connect to generate your Key and Secret. Copy both values — you need them to configure the destination in Amplitude.

Amplitude setup

  1. In Amplitude, navigate to Data > Destinations.
  2. Search for "Voxie" and select Voxie Cohorts.
  3. Click Add another destination.
  4. Enter a descriptive name for this destination.
  5. Enter the Key and Secret you copied from the Voxie dashboard.
  6. Map the Phone property — Voxie requires it to identify contacts. Optionally map Email, First Name, and Last Name.
  7. Click Save.

Send a cohort

After you set up the integration:

  1. In Amplitude, go to Users > Cohorts.
  2. Select the cohort you want to sync.
  3. Click Sync.
  4. Select Voxie, then click Next.
  5. Choose the account you want to sync to.
  6. Set the sync cadence.
  7. Click Save.
