Voxie Event Stream

Voxie's event stream integration creates and updates contacts in Voxie from Amplitude identify calls and events in real time.

Voxie is a conversational SMS marketing platform that helps brands engage customers with personalized, two-way text messaging at scale.

Considerations

  • You must enable this integration in each Amplitude project you want to use it in.
  • You need a Voxie account to enable this integration.
  • Voxie requires a phone number to identify contacts. Voxie skips events and identify calls that don't include a phone number.
  • Amplitude sends selected user and event properties along with each event.

Prerequisites

To set up this integration, you need:

  • A Voxie account with the Amplitude integration enabled. Contact your Voxie account manager if you don't see it under Settings > Integrations.
  • Owner or admin access in your Voxie team to generate credentials.

Set up the integration

Voxie setup

  1. Log in to your Voxie account.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Amplitude.
  3. Under Inbound Configuration, click Connect to generate your Key and Secret. Copy both values — you need them to configure the destination in Amplitude.

Amplitude setup

  1. In Amplitude, navigate to Data > Destinations.
  2. Search for "Voxie" and select Voxie - Event Stream.
  3. Enter a sync name, then click Create Sync.
  4. Enter the Key and Secret you copied from the Voxie dashboard.
  5. Map your Amplitude user properties to Voxie fields. Phone is required — Voxie skips contacts without a phone number. Optionally map Email, First Name, and Last Name.
  6. Enable the Send Users toggle to forward Amplitude Identify calls to Voxie.
  7. Optionally, enable Send Events and use the event type filter to select which events to forward.
  8. When finished, enable the destination and click Save.
