Cordial
Cordial is a customer engagement and data platform that unifies real-time data across your technology stack. Use Cordial to engage customers in personalized ways across email, SMS, mobile app, and more.
This cohort integration syncs users from Amplitude cohorts to Cordial lists. Combine lists with other Cordial contact data to create dynamic segments for sending messages, searching contacts, and filtering analytics reports.

- Enable this integration in each Amplitude project you want to use it in.
Set up the integration
Cordial setup
- Navigate to Cordial's Portal.
- Create an API Key in Cordial following the instructions.
Amplitude setup
- In Amplitude Data, click Catalog and select the Destinations tab.
- In the Cohort section, click Cordial.
- Enter Name and Cordial API Key.
- Contact your Cordial CSM to get your Amplitude service URL and paste it into the Endpoint field.
- Enter the name of your contact identifier in Cordial into the Contact identifier name field. This key identifies users in Cordial. For example, "email".
- In the Contact identifier mapping dropdown, select a user property name. Cordial uses this value for the contact identifier.
- Save the destination.
Send a cohort
- In Amplitude, open the cohort to sync.
- Click Sync, and choose Cordial.
- Select the destination.
- Select the sync frequency you need.
- Save when finished.
Use the cohort in Cordial
After a cohort syncs, Cordial adds the contacts to a list. The list name matches the Amplitude cohort name with spaces removed. For example, syncing the "active users" cohort with 10 users adds 10 contacts to the activeusers list. When a user is removed from the cohort and the cohort syncs again, Cordial removes the contact from the list. Refer to Cordial's lists article for details on using lists.
