Plotline (Cohort Sync)

Considerations
Keep these points in mind when sending events to Plotline:
- Enable this integration in each Amplitude project that needs it.
- You need a paid Plotline plan to enable this integration.
- Amplitude matches the
user_idto the ID in Plotline to associate events. If a user with that ID doesn't exist in Plotline, Amplitude creates one. The Amplitudeuser_idfield must match the Plotline ID field to avoid user duplication.

Prerequisites
To configure your Cohort integration from Amplitude to Plotline, you need the following from Plotline:
- API Key: To send data into Plotline, get your API Key. Refer to the Plotline documentation for help.
Amplitude setup
- In Amplitude Data, click Catalog and select the Destinations tab.
- In the Cohort section, click Plotline.
- Add your Plotline API key.
- Enter a name.
- Map the Amplitude User ID.
- Save your work.
