Replay Sessions and Retarget VIPs with Your Existing Adobe Tags
This Adobe Tags extension update gets you more insights out of the data you collect
Since joining Amplitude, I’ve consistently been asked, “What’s the easiest way to try the platform?”
I spent a decade leading analytics at organizations that use Adobe Analytics and I’ve been a prolific contributor to the Adobe Analytics community in Measure Slack. It’s no surprise that this question often comes from long-time Adobe Analytics users who are evaluating alternatives for their organization.
With Amplitude, analytics is easier and it doesn't take months to get started
Traditionally, learning a new analytics platform felt overwhelming. Fortunately, Amplitude’s innovation has made analytics accessible to more people than ever. Agents let anyone answer deep questions in plain language. MCP meets your teams in the tools they already use, whether that’s Teams, Slack, Claude, Notion, or elsewhere. Agent Analytics measures the new kinds of experiences your teams are building and connects them to the outcomes that matter. And Amplitude Wave is shifting the paradigm from reactive to proactive analytics, closing the loop between learning and improving.
But adoption isn’t the only challenge. Coming from legacy platforms, analysts often see data collection and instrumentation as an equally large barrier.
Amplitude has always prided itself on lowering that barrier. While most of our customers install our SDKs directly, we also integrate with major CDPs and CDIs like Segment, Tealium, and Rudderstack. Twenty percent of our enterprise customers use the Amplitude Google Tag Manager template to collect data through their existing analytics engineering practices.
Access advanced Amplitude features with an existing Adobe Tags setup
Since 2022, our partner Feld M has offered an Adobe Tags (previously branded and commonly referred to as ‘Launch’) extension for Amplitude. The latest updates from Summer 2026 allow you to easily:
- Manage analytics autocapture settings. Multiple ways to configure autocapture events are available.
- Deploy Session Replay and Heatmaps. Session replay has become an increasingly important data source for LLMs, and it can now be added with a single additional click.
- Launch Guides and Surveys. Proactively serve users the guidance they need on your website, or collect user feedback through surveys.
The extension leverages all of your existing Tags data elements and rules, along with your internal data layer. If you currently use Adobe Tags, your team has made a significant financial investment over several years. You can reuse that work to build a fast, complete Amplitude implementation today.
You can also see what it really takes to get started in this on-demand webinar where Krista Seiden and Frederik Werner implement Amplitude live on a real website.
Try it free whether you’re trialing Amplitude or connecting your enterprise stack
Whether you’re learning Amplitude with a starter account, evaluating an enterprise proof-of-concept, or complementing an existing Adobe investment, the extension helps you get off the ground quickly and find value right away.
