Description: We’ve added two new operators to our filters within Amplitude. The ‘starts with’ operator and the ‘does not start with’ operator.

Why it matters: Many customers have event properties with hierarchical names like urls and they want to match a prefix. Currently they have to use “contains” for this, but this unnecessarily checks substrings in the middle of the string which is both a waste of time and can potentially lead to inaccurate results. By using the new operators, users can get more accurate results faster.
