Improved SR querying - users can view all (or at least way more) of their replays
Customers are now able to view anywhere from 1.1-10000x more replays than they could before without any additional effort.
What it is
Description: This has to be one of the most impactful improvements that we will ever deliver for Session Replay customers. Without doing anything, customers are now able to view anywhere from 1.1-10000x more replays than they could before.
Previously, to surface a replay, the session ID on the replay had to match at least one event's session ID. If a replay didn’t have at least one event with a matching session ID, it would never appear in the app.
Now, users can view all the replays they are recording.
Other details: • We now more reliably return useful replays when filtering on events or funnels. ◦ The system checks whether the event/funnel occurred within the recorded replay and has lifted the session ID match requirement. ◦ This results in fewer false positives (surfacing replays that aren't relevant) and more true positives (surfacing replays that are relevant).
