Can you tell us about yourself and how you landed your role at Amplitude?
I joined Amplitude approximately 2.5 years ago as a Solutions Consultant, bringing deep expertise from years of implementation consulting. My path to Amplitude came through a LinkedIn opportunity by , where a colleague recommended me. My background as a customer and implementer of analytics platforms (including experience with , , and other unnamed competitors 🙂) gave me a unique perspective on our customers‘ challenges. My foundation in web, marketing, and product analytics, combined with extensive CDP and modern data stack knowledge, positioned me perfectly to help customers succeed with Amplitude.
How does Ownership at Amplitude influence how we work together and move the company forward?
Ownership at Amplitude means taking comprehensive responsibility for customer success and business outcomes. My approach centers on building a tangible bridge from analytics to business value through strategic activation and measurable results. I leverage my extensive background as a customer and implementer of analytics platforms to ensure customers make decisions today that optimize their teams’ workflows for the future.
What distinguishes Amplitude is how every team member leans into deals and prioritizes customer success. This collective commitment creates an environment where collaboration isn’t just encouraged—it’s essential. I’m honored to work alongside teammates who share this dedication to holistic customer outcomes.
How does our Ownership value shape your approach to work?
The Ownership value resonates deeply with my personal approach to customer success. My extensive background—from being an analytics platform customer to implementing complex CDP and martech solutions—has shown me that sustainable success requires thinking beyond individual transactions or technical implementations. I prioritize long-term customer outcomes and company success rather than short-term wins.
This value validates and amplifies my commitment to connecting dots for customers, helping them understand how technical decisions cascade through their organizations. Knowing that Ownership is a company-wide priority ensures alignment across every team interaction, creating an environment where my expertise in holistic solution architecture can deliver maximum impact for customers and Amplitude alike.
We admire Ampliteers who go above and beyond to ensure success for our customers and the business. What inspires you to be extraordinary in your role at Amplitude?
My inspiration stems from having walked in our customers’ shoes. Before becoming an Implementation Consultant, I was a customer of product analytics tools, including Heap, Google Analytics, and many competitors. This experience firsthand taught me the complexities of web, marketing, and product analytics.
My subsequent implementation consulting work deepened my expertise across CDPs and the modern data stack. Every day, I draw on this dual perspective—customer and implementer—to provide holistic, forward-thinking guidance. When customers face critical decisions about how today’s choices will impact future workflows, I lean in fully to deliver the most comprehensive answers possible. I strive to be the solutions architect I always wished I had access to when starting my analytics journey.
What personal or professional goals are you excited about for the future, and how do you envision Amplitude playing a part in your growth?
Amplitude has been transformational for my professional development, and I’m profoundly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had here. My manager, , has been an exceptional role model, teaching me invaluable lessons about business strategy, work impact, and maintaining laser focus on what truly matters in each project. His mentorship has elevated my approach to solution architecture and customer engagement.
I’ve also recently begun mentoring others within the Solutions Engineering organization, sharing the knowledge I’ve gained from my unique journey—from analytics customer to implementer to solutions architect—to help elevate our team’s capabilities and customer impact. I’m excited to continue deepening my expertise across Amplitude’s evolving product suite, particularly as we advance our and expand our platform.
